Welcome to the Blog of Mary E. Lawson.
I am an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, and I will endeavor to post information on this blog that is pertinent to those two subjects. I may even write an article or two on the subject for it. And, I will definitely post many useful links for designers, illustrators, students, clients and potential clients, as well as well as links for the enjoyment of anyone artistic in general. I doubt I will be able to resist posing occasional Illustrations, and might even post a tutorial or two.

As far as a Bio:
I live in Orlando, Florida, and have lived here for a little over 10 years. I went to school several years ago, now, at the University of Central Florida, and studied Art and Communication. I have been freelancing, mostly on the side, on and off since 2003. I have worked with vector programs since their infancy; moving from Logo, to Corel Draw, to the “Industry Standard” Adobe Illustrator. Though I work on a Mac at this point, I am just as comfortable on a PC. And, far as jobs I’ve held, I have been a Graphic Designer in a print shop, Photographer at a Theme Park, and Bookseller, as well as an Intern in Marketing/Public Relations, and in Advertising/Graphic Design.
