Hang Tags for bluebirdknits

Here is the design for the tags I will be using. I just completed it last night.
Buttons!
I have wanted to make buttons with illustrations on them for quite a while. I set some up on Zazzle, with some illustrations I have made, at one time or another. Here are the first ones I have available.

I will have many more available as time goes on, as I plan on making some illustrations specifically for buttons. I also plan on having some made locally, to be sold in stores.
Spring 2009 Logo
Here’s the new Spring 09′ version of my logo. (I change the colors according to the Pantone Color Report each season.)

Re-Organized Portfolio
after taking a break from blogging for a little bit, I am getting back to it. I have re-organised my portfolio, so check it out. The styles make much more sense now, and do not seem so random. I also added some new work.
Check it out by clicking on the badge I have on the side column.
I have also been working on some ideas for merchandise to offer, and I am probably going to start with buttons. They seem to be the most do-able. More on that to come.

Photos Comming Soon…etc. (an update)
I am getting a digital camera, so, soon, for the first time, I will post photos on my site
In other news, I am still definitely making illustrations and freelancing. Also trying to find a part or full time job, hopefully (and I am crossing my fingers, here) in something design related.
Most of the items I knit are for sale. I sell scarves in the wintertime at a local boutique, and am open to selling items online, as long as it’s paid for by check, and the check clears before I send out the item.
I am just starting to look into the possibility of selling items in online shops, so, stay posted. Maybe in the future I will offer things online, in a way that is more conducive to web shopping. But for now it’s the old fashioned way.
Also, I am definitely getting much more into the fashion aspect of making clothing (through knitting). Since most knitted items are worn, it definitely makes sense for them to look good. I have always paid attention to color, but lately I have been more into not only color, but texture, pattern, drape of material, cut of material, and just general clothing related things. My recently redecorated inspiration board helps a ton. (It’s now %75 photos of clothing)
So, anyway. That’s where I stand. Again, hopefully I will have some time to draw up some more quick illustrations for my blog. I will do this as time permits, but I will do it. So, stay tuned
